Join us online to celebrate the statewide launch of Gayawur Rainbow, a new program developed by the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC) in partnership with 2Spirits.
Following our physical events across five Queensland sites, this online launch brings together community members, staff, and supporters from across the state to hear about what Gayawur Rainbow is, why it matters, and how you can get involved.
Our online space will feature:
🌿 A virtual Acknowledgement of Country
🗣 Speeches from community leaders and the Gayawur Rainbow Team
📣 Insights into the services and supports available
✨ A spotlight on the Virtual Hub – including Tea Dances, Lunchbox Sessions, and more
Gayawur means “rainbow” in the Ugarapul language – symbolising culture, connection, and care. This program is about visibility, belonging, and creating welcoming, affirming spaces for LGBTIQA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities across Queensland.
Whether you're in a city, regional town or a remote area, this online launch is your opportunity to connect and celebrate with us.
Register now and be part of this exciting moment! 👉 bit.ly/4iUklDb
